Andrea Donalds is as dedicated a journalist as there ever was, despite working the last two years since graduating at a glorified tabloid publication. The Matters Most Post claims to print what matters most, the truth, but in fact they specialize in sensationalized rumor or completely made up nonsense complete with grainy photos. Will Andrea’s big investigative story on Leap Day finally shed some truth to their fiction… or has Andrea merely started the sensational end to her short career?<\/p>\n

Andrea knows her boss Eddie wanted her looking into some ridiculous story about a wolf boy in South Dakota. It’s just the kind os nonsense Eddie likes their publication to print. Whether it’s wolf boys, ape-men, or Martians, The Matters Most Post is about as serious a journalistic piece of paper as it is a serious place to work.<\/p>\n

As the only female staff reporter, Andrea has quickly grown to realize the only reason she was hired was for any part of her but her journalistic integrity. Eddie is an old pervert as much as he is an editor, and fellow staff reporters Peter, Paul, and Larry are as interested in breaking a real story as they are breaking a sweat writing and researching it.<\/p>\n

But this year Andrea Donalds found something that finally bridges the gap between their kind of fiction and a reality that needs to be shed… an urban legend with growing cult-status, a weird little wishing ritual that only works on Leap Day.<\/p>\n

Complete with her sources and signed waivers from everyone she looked into, Andrea intends to show Eddie a real investigative truth for once. But she may only end up becoming part of the very fiction she seeks to get rid of.<\/p>\n

After arguing with Eddie over the merits of her story, Andrea demonstrates the Leap Day wishing ritual, and makes the mistake of wishing that he and the others just took her serious for a change.<\/p>\n

When Eddie and fellow staff reporters immediately grab Andrea, their aggressions and groping hands make it clear that somehow the urban legend is real and they intend to do just as she wished… to take her… seriously.<\/p>\n

But seeing the potential for all sorts of top-selling headlines, Eddie is soon doing the Leap Day leaping ritual himself, wishing poor Andrea into becoming the very freakish subjects they have in the past only made up.<\/p>\n
