While his deputy Nash Wilson is becoming more and more concerned that something is not right in the small town of Good Intentions… something that might explain the disappearances of cousins and twin sisters Avery and Abigail Wilson, the sweetest country girls around.<\/p>\n

But Deputy Wilson’s insistence they look into things, his assurances that unlike what the sheriff claims is more likely, Avery and Abigail did not just skip town for the summer because nothing exciting ever happens in Good Intentions, will not be enough. Help may just come in the form of a backpacker, a man traveling alone by foot… a man who is searching for someone else, a threat like nothing the town of Good Intentions has ever imagined before.<\/p>\n

But after that man realizes he unknowingly sent local sweetheart Daisy Dean straight into the potential path of a man who can truly corrupt the uncorruptable, he insists Sheriff Simms and Deputy Wilson take him out to the old power company access road along the edge of the Wilson family farm property. It’s a place Deputy Wilson has seen mysterious trucks with road signs, even though road construction there in the middle of nowhere makes no sense at all. <\/p>\n

Just what are these three to find once they enter that old access road, and why do vehicles break down on that road so frequently and mysteriously now? Is there any truth to the mystery man’s claims that all the roads east of Good Intentions have simply vanished… a blurring of reality that threatens to swallow up the entire small town, and may have already swallowed much of the citizens there? Will the investor who bought up properties ever be caught and his true intentions uncovered? And is this a battle for the soul of smalltown decency… one doomed to fail right into the Fertile Fields of depravity?<\/p>\n
