On a lazy day home from college, Heath lounges in front of the TV as his mom, Courtney, busies herself with creative interior design ambitions in the family room. But when she needs help, she points out that he needs more friends… that February 11 is Make a Friend Day.
Soon sent out with the promise of making one new friend, Heath is helped by gaming buddy Gage, and a mysterious app called Make a Friend. But each time he uses it to connect with a nearby single girl, she is quickly occupied with perverse actions by someone else.

On February 11th, Courtney is busily putting the final design touches to her masterpiece, a room that will be featured the next day by local journalists and media to launch her interior design career in the small-town where she lives as a single mother of a college son. But little does she know, her own ambitions for that son to stop slacking and make new friends may just send their entire world as well as the lives of others careening on a path right into the madness that is SINtendo.
Watching TV and enjoying his TV friends as he likes to call them, Heath is perfectly happy to lounge around on the couch in the small family room while his mother busies herself doing creative design work with the furniture and everything she has spent weeks putting just right in the more formal living room.
But after she needs some help moving a teal designer couch and rather humiliated by the fact her shirt is half unbuttoned, Courtney is mentioning that today is February 11th… also known as Make a Friend Day, and maybe he wouldn’t be so embarrassed if he had more friends to be doing things with.
It doesn’t help much that Heath brings up a friend he does have, both college and locally, Gage. Gage is a troublemaker, Courtney points out, and even now apparently, Gage is at home grounded for something which says a lot about a guy just home on college break. Still, Courtney insists that her slacker son get out there and make a new friend, maybe even a girl friend, which would make her happy.
And given the rather gushy embarrassment of having his mom explain bras and looking half dressed as she finishes her creative ambitions to start a new career, Heath is soon out the door, promising he will at least make one new friend today… somehow.
It’s at a nearby park that Heath calls Gage, needing his help, any help, ideas on how to actually meet someone and make friends to prove to his mom she doesn’t need to stay on him about all this.
Gage, claiming to be busily screwing a horny bitch even if he is supposed to be grounded, does in fact say he has a way for Heath to meet a new friend, of the female persuasion. It’s an app he can send him called Make a Friend. Apparently it works by connecting with local singles when they are nearby, presenting their information on the phone, then letting the user send digital icebreaker messages, before going up and saying hi.
Considering he doesn’t have very many other options and it is a weekday, almost no one at the local park, Heath is accepting the help, although doubting any of the perverse claims of his own current fun Gage is making.
When the app comes and he downloads it, other than some mild buzzing and tingling as he installs it, nothing seems all that weird. Make a Friend promises to connect him with nearby singles… and for some strange reason the app says it now comes with Benefits, whatever those might be.
A short time later, Heath is woken from dozing bored and alone at a picnic table, the Make a Friend app presenting his first potential new friend, Shelby, a very cute girl impressively shown on his screen just as she is, looking over, watching her walk through the park with a backpack on, seeming intent on going somewhere.
Figuring she is certainly cute enough and the right age, apparently single, Heath sends his first icebreaker using the app by tapping on her.
Little could he imagine that when Shelby’s phone buzzes and she looks down at it, her own fingers are clenching tightly, buzzing tingles surging into her as she reads the words on that screen. Make a Friend, now with Benefits.
A local community college student, going to a fellow classmate, Jared, who’d been assigned to partner up on her for an assignment, Shelby is suddenly feeling a lot different, confused, concerned, and slowly accepting of an entirely new agenda for the day… no longer purely focused on studying.
By the time Heath follows Shelby to try and say hi, he is just shaking his head, figuring of course she was going to meet some guy. Just because someone is single doesn’t mean they aren’t dating, and it sure looks like Shelby and that other guy are all over each other from where Heath sees them, turning to head back to his picnic table.
Little does he know just what Shelby and Jared really are doing, more and more extreme kinky public sex near a fountain, each of their minds corrupted by an app that not only makes Shelby Jared’s friend with benefits, but enhances him to exploit those benefits over and over.
