In another OBJECTified feature this Readers Choice Month, meet sweet and studious coed Serena, who just needs a little silence to do her studies.
After she gets some noise cancelling headphones with the ability to tune and adjust out frequent distortions, will Serena finally do her studies, or is she about to be the one getting done once she realizes what those persistent distortions are in fact suggesting to her?
Her neighbors might be noisy, but Serena can make noises of her own, and those neighbors might be the ones making her make them as they all become much closer.
Hispanic beauty and studious coed Serena may be the only university student upset by the renovations closing the library for the summer. That is mostly because she lives in a home her father Juan runs an auto repair shop occasionally from the back of, and the neighbors on either side also do rather incessantly loud work out of their home from.
But there may just be an object to save her the hassle… or will that object just make sure she ends up fully OBJECTified? Readers Choice Month continues with another in the brand new series where ordinary objects turn extraordinarily kinky in unpredictable ways.
Serena has no problems with her neighbors, and her father is always doing what he cans to make sure she has the peace and quiet needed to be a good student, his sweet little bug as he calls her.
On one side of their home, Gary is a hardworking craftsman, working with wood, using loud blaring saws throughout the day. He may be a nice guy, but the noise, not so nice. And on the other side lives a fairly well-respected and famed sculptor named Randall, but working with the metal and materials he sculpts from requires sometimes mind-numbing grinder noises and quickly Serena realizes, good neighbors or not, she has to find a solution.
Her father believes he may have that solution, happily offering Serena the fancy noise cancelling headphones a client in desperate need of front end work offered in trade. Normally not one to take trade for his automotive repairs, Juan knows how much Serena needs to focus and read and study.
But as Serena adjusts to the noise cancelling headphones, she soon finds odd distortion sounds which fortunately the adjustments allow her to figure out and tune so that they go away. She’s enjoying the way the noise cancelling headphones work, even if each day seems to bring a slightly more annoying distortion noise. Whether it’s buzzing or droning sounds… she continues to tune them out using the controls… until one day Serena realizes maybe those aren’t distortions she hears at all. Could they in fact be words… and when she tunes those words together, what sentence is she suddenly hearing repeated over and over inside the headphones?
All she wanted was some silence, and soon Serena may get just what she asks for… at a cost she never dreamed of. But it’s all just a part of the price one pays when they get OBJECTified.
Readers Choice Month offers readers the instant silence to focus on their reading, while quite possibly cancelling out their morals and inhibitions along the way.
Up next… It’s time for a Konversation…
