When shy introvert Denise is dragged to the mall because her blonde bestie Tanya insists they look for hot mall guys, she thinks things have gotten as bad as they will get. But after ditzy Tanya messes up taking a selfie on her new phone, somehow making a video, everything Denise could have been humiliated by gets Paused.
Pressing an actual pause option to capture a selfie, Tanya has no idea she literally paused her friend. And seeing Denise standing there absolutely still, she assumes it’s a joke, walking off into a nearby store without her. But soon Denise is found by horny guys and when they think she’s the most lifelike doll ever, they have plenty of fun with her frozen body.
Denise couldn’t be more embarrassed to find that the mall is crowded on the day her best friend and something of a ditzy blonde Tanya drags her there. As a lifelong introvert and shy woman, Denise is not wanting to go on the prowl for cute mall guys like her blonde bestie, and it doesn’t matter that they are nearly at the end of their twenties… it’s still just humiliating for Denise.
But if she thinks she has even tasted humiliation yet, Denise should think again, because she’s about to get a taste of all kinds of new forms of humiliation after Tanya tries to take a selfie on the new phone she got.
Holding her phone out, she doesn’t realize until Denise points it out beside her that she is taking a video recording. So thinking as simply as she usually does, Tanya shrugs and presses pause, assuming that is the same as a selfie.
Denise doesn’t even have a chance to point out that phone videos shouldn’t have an actual pause button, because as soon as Tanya presses it, Denise is absolutely frozen. She is still very much aware of everything around her, but unable to move, to blink, or to even breathe as everything about her has somehow just been Paused.
Tanya assumes she is kidding around, not that a shy introvert like Denise ever kids around, especially in public places with a bunch of strangers around. And leaving her behind to let her play mannequin, Tanya heads into a nearby store, unaware that her friend is somehow trapped within that frozen paused moment, unable to fend off the touches of strangers when one of those strange men in the mall bumps into her.
After checking for a pulse, the first man assumes she must somehow be a very lifelike mannequin, or possibly a doll, and he drags her out of the eyes of others to enjoy how real she is. But when Denise is barely saved his having his way with her by a couple of teenage boys who spot him… her relief is short-lived as the boys assume the same as he did, dragging her to a restroom stall for some fun.
Will Denise break out of her introverted shell by going out of her frozen mind with pleasure? Will Tanya ever unpause her friend? And if she does will Denise turn the tables on the ditzy blonde who let her get paused and played with by strangers?
