All I Want: A Better Train Ride by Kris P. Kreme
On the eighth day of Krismas, Gabby made a wish she wasn’t prepared to come true.
As a model, Gabriella poses in many places, and the latest gig has her modeling her beautiful flawless form alongside the contrasting rundown decrepit warehouses of the worst part of town. Riding the subway there and back late in the night is starting to take a toll on Gabby’s positive attitude.
But making a wish for a better train ride may take a bigger toll as Gabby learns what train rides can really do to a girl.
Gabriella, or Gabby to all her friends used to have wide-eyed fascination of living in the city. Yet glitz and glamour can quickly fade when frequently dealing with the more depressing frustrating parts of urban life. As a young up and coming model, Gabby makes good money modeling for photographers in unique locations, but the latest takes place at rundown warehouses in the worst part of town and her train rides to and from the location are leaving her more worn out than any of the actual modeling.
She’s ridden the subway for years, and there has always been an element of concern, but heading into a gang operated territory, and essentially depending on a couple of older homeless guys who frequent the train for protection is wearing any of the joy Gabby may have still had for the Christmas season.
All she really wants is a better train ride, and so that is exactly what Gabby wishes for, a better train ride, one where she feels anything but frustration or bad about.
Yet when Gabby gets back on the train to head home to her boyfriend, her usual protectors aren’t quite as protective, the homeless finding a new source of potential income in selling Gabby to the very gang that they once defended her against.
Will the beautiful model Gabriella discover a new definition for train ride? And is everyone in one gang going to be having a very Merry Christmas thanks to yet another poorly worded wish on the Santa Star?
Krismas is the time to help those less fortunate, and offer them rides when they need one; Gabby’s going to be one hell of a generous ride.
