Running Konversation by Kris P. Kreme

When frustrated at her husband for ditching what was to be their morning run, a beautiful woman happens to catch the eye of a talkative doctor also out for a run. And when they run together, maintaining a conversational pace, Jennifer’s husband may soon regret much more than just staying home to watch the game with a friend.

As Jennifer gets into the idea of making Brad jealous to get him back, her plans go from plotting to tell him about the doctor she met on the run to doing things with that doctor, to ultimately going home and doing things with his stupid buddy right in front of him.

There’s a time for Konversation, and a time for action.

Jennifer is angrily mumbling to herself as she gets ready for a morning run, angry specifically at her husband Brad who ditched her on this run to hang out with his old college buddy Aaron. But when Jennifer meets a talkative doctor willing to join her for her run, her husband may just find all new reasons to regret upsetting his beautiful wife.

It’s hard not to see a beautiful woman like Jennifer getting ready for a run. Even with no makeup and her hair pulled back, she is the kind of woman most men would have plenty of thoughts about, and a talkative doctor is going to tell her exactly what those thoughts are.

Striking up a conversation, the man simply calling himself Doc is quick to form quite the friendly bond with Jennifer, especially when she mentions that she’d hoped to have what is called a conversational pace while running. Since her husband dropped out when Aaron stopped by and wanted to watch a game, she now won’t have the pace she needed. The doctor though is too happy to help, always a conversational guy himself.

The pace one can run while still having a conversation is called a conversational pace, and this will be one Running Konversation, neither of them ever forget. Even though they’ve just met, Jennifer is quick to unload about the frustrations with Brad. He wants to ditch the commitment to morning runs, wants to hang out with his immature buddy Aaron who thinks himself quite the ladies man, and has never really invested in much of his wife’s serious interests, like finally starting a family.

But what if there’s a way to get back at Brad, the friendly Doc suggests. And as they joke about teasing Brad with the fact she met a handsome stranger who wanted to do much more than merely jog with her, somewhere along the way our favorite doctor’s conversational skills do their usual trick.

Will Jennifer be working up more than a sweat from jogging with the doctor? Will she be starting that family without her husband? And will Jennifer return home and make Brad watch as his old buddy Aaron gets everything Brad can no longer have? Find out as Readers Choice Month takes a moment for another serious Konversation.
